Kapwa Psychotherapy's vision is that all people have socially just access to safer, sustainable, competent, and quality mental healthcare and information.

Kapwa Psychotherapy's mission is to provide non-judgemental and culturally-competent mental health services and treatment to all with a focus on BIPOC and LGBTQI+ communities. In order to accomplish this, our therapists offer ongoing and consistent weekly sessions that are safe spaces where our clinicians are mindful of our clients’ diverse lived experiences and utilize a trauma-informed lens.

On a wider level, Kapwa Psychotherapy supports and trains other healthcare professionals by providing individual and group supervision, and presenting workshops to communities and organizations. We maintain and improve our own competence through taking workshops & trainings, and getting involved in various community and professional groups and events.
