Online Payments only: Kawpa Psychotherapy, PLLC accepts credit cards, debit cards, FSA & HSA via Square.
Limited insurance accepted at this time: Currently this practice accepts Aetna (NY & WA), CIGNA (NY & WA), Wellfleet (NY), Horizon BCBS of NJ (NY), BCBS of Massachusetts (NY), Regence BlueShield of Washington (WA), and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield New York (formerly Empire/NY). For Out-of-Network (OON) clients, we are able to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.
Open Path Collective: This practice is a part of the Open Path Collective, a nationwide network of mental health professionals dedicated to providing affordable, in-office and online mental health care to clients in need. Fees are negotiated with you and the therapist and should be between $40-$70. We have some spots available. For for more info please click here, and then message if still interested.
Future commitment to reduce financial barriers
As part of our vision to offer mental health treatment that is financially sustainable for both you and our practice, we have achieved our first goal of accepting insurance. Our next goal is to expand which insurances we accept by March 2025.
